My current day job has been keeping me rather busy but it's also allowing me to see a lot of the small towns in Oklahoma. Not too glamourous but they do have some sort of charm. Just avoid the people...

Mitch Feinberg photographs some of the accessories worn by French dance demi gods, Daft Punk.
The tone captured in the pictures of their masks and gloves are amazing. Funny, thinking back a few weeks I could have sworn I saw a magazine cover with one of these images in Borders.
Might have to go back and buy.

Some more about luck from the guy being saved by a tree a couple posts down, the guy below is David aka Young Star, a former amateur boxer who's potential career was demolished after he was shot in 1994 to the head. Yeh, the friggen head! Who survives after they've been shot in the head? And it wasn't no potato gun neither!

The War In Mexico

The Boston globe provides some pictures of the on going all out war in Mexico between the authorities and the drug cartels.Amazing pictures capture the war shot by shot, some quite graphic so please beware. Also included in the photo set is the newly constructed US/Mexico border wall which can be lifted from the sand dunes after sandstorms bury it.
