New video from Fashawn. Very original rapper, one of my favorites that is "unknown".

A couple of tracks have been popping up here and there from Kid Cudi's demo tape, and recently I ran across the whole thing. Props to wedoitrightmag. More than a few tracks are missing, but hey ... some Cudi is better than no Cudi.

Forget Jay Z's album, I'm more hyped about OB4CL II.

And that's coming from a big Jay Z fan, nothing new I've heard from him has moved me. But it seems like Raekwon cannot do any wrong right now.

Check out the amazing video for "House of flying daggers". Anyone else getting Jeru flashbacks video wise? Real hip hop heads will know what I mean.

One of my favourite freshman class rappers teams up with another high flyer, Wiz Khalifa for a mix tape simply called, "How Fly".

I expect nothing but greatness from this. Below is the track listing for it, and although I have no release date for it I anticipate it.

When the head of your record label is the biggest star in the company, you know you're in for a bumpy ride. But with BadBoy records, I think the bumps in the ride are of Godzilla proportions.




Lets look BadBoy artists over the years.

Ma$e, now a pastor but briefly returned to hip hop before selling double wood and then returning to embrace the Lord.

Black Rob, habitual law breaker now spending a lot of time amongst men on a government sponsored vacation.

Danity Kane, countless cat fights resulting in Diddy dis banding the group.

Da Band, not only did they have the worst hip hop group name but all members have virtually melted into obscurity with Choppa making a brief return a few months ago with his great grandfather's suit online.

G Dep, released an incredible album. Disappeared, got hooked on drugs now clean he is back working with Diddy.

Fuzz Bubble, who? I hear you ask? Rock band signed to BB who never released an album and have duly melted into obscurity.

Dream, the white all girl group, a bootleg 3LW if you wish. They too are gone, never to be heard of.

Kane, Puff's answer to Eminem. Nope, he's faded into obscurity too without as much of a single.

Shyne, dare I say BIG's replacement. He dropped one album on BB, dropped a few shells in the club one night and is also away on a government sponsored vacation.

And now ladies and gentlemen, we come to the subject at hand, Loon. Two years ago, he assaulted another Harlem rapper with a shovel whilst homeboy was getting a haircut he then dropped an album with fellow BB cadet, G Dep (Child of the Ghetto was such a great album).

And now he has seemingly turned to Islam and is "Hoping to change the lyrics and message of rap". At least he's not selling some product i.e



And wait for it...



It's not easy being a rapper any more.

The trailer for Hov's song, which caused quite a bit of commotion after it initially dropped. The full video is expected to drop Sunday.

Pac Div drop the video to their song, "Mayor". Are you ready for their next blend tape? The name alone makes the wait worth it.

Yup, that's right. The second man on the moon (Am I correct?) Is the inspiration to some of hip hop's biggest stars, so much so he has called them all in to help record his debut hip hop album aptly titled, "Buzz Aldrin's Rocket Experience".

I hope all is well with you? The reason I ask is because you are seriously starting to worry me with some of the, ahem "music" you have been making of late.

A few years ago you dropped Electric Circus and I was baffled, but forgave you as you said you wanted to grow as an artist. You dropped your last album which again had me wondering where the Can I borrow a Dollar dude went.

But today, after collabos with Microsoft and a fragrance company (I understand you have to get that money in recession times) you go ahead and hit me with the track below.



This leaves me to ask the question, DUDE! WHAT THE HELL, MAN!

I think so. Watch Shad tear down this freestyle. This kiddies, is what a real emcee, notice I typed EMCEE and not mc, should sound like.

Just got this video from our boy in NY, Nov Ganon. His hotly anticipated mixtape, Cram Session is comming very soon, greatness takes time. But in the meantime watch him performing his song, "Labels" in Virginia.

Whorington favorite CurT@!n$ has just dropped a brand new video, and of course, it is dope as hell. Nice to see more material being put out, as he also has a new mixtape coming out pretty soon.

Hahahahahahahahaha...His own words have come back to haunt or rather, smack him in the face.

As you may be able to tell, I'm not a fan of this guy and never got what all the hype around him was.

I have not got this album yet, but I've got really mixed reviews from those who have heard it. Personally I take reviews with a pinch of salt, but thought you guys might be interested in the Esquire review of Em's newest offering.
