What news readers did during the ad break or when the show cuts to an outside broadcast?

If I was the news reader, between the break, I would have had sex with 4 different women, won the war in Iraq, moon walked on the surface of the moon, driven 5 super charged cars and still be back before you knew it, but these guys are not me.
